People around have been describing me as a highly competitive person with a tinge of restlessness. My nature perhaps. Apart from that, I am proactive, easy and an honest people person who almost never gives up. That explains why I practice consensus management, notwithstanding it is time-consuming. And that is probably how I managed to grow from a simple insurance agent to a Senior VP and remain active and useful throughout the last 40-plus years.

Not just because of my desire to leave behind a winning organisation but also to ensure I do not retrogress. All I want for myself every year is to be a better person than the year before, and then when everything is over, my loved ones and team members can be very proud of me.
