Preparing your experience ...
My career began in communications, where I graduated from the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and spent two years across different companies in contract roles. It was a formative period — I learned how to speak well, build networks, and approach problems from multiple angles. But after a while, I found myself wanting more than the work behind the scenes. I wanted to connect with people directly and make a tangible difference in their lives.
That desire brought me into financial advisory, and it is a decision I have not looked back on. In 4.5 years, I have built a client base from the ground up, gaining 30 clients in my first six months alone. One moment that has stayed with me was helping a client with cancer secure a Multipay Critical Illness plan, at a time when she needed it most. Those are the moments that remind me why this work matters.
My approach is straightforward: I take the time to understand what each client actually needs, then build solutions around that. For investments, I work across multiple platforms so that each portfolio reflects the client's risk profile and time horizon, not a one-size-fits-all template. For protection, my familiarity with multiple insurers means I can find coverage that is both comprehensive and accessible. At its core, my work is about journeying with clients through every life stage, so they can pursue their goals with confidence.
